About the role
ABIS is seeking a Planning Incharge specialized in Mechanical with expertise in Shutdown & Turnaround activities within the Oil & Gas sector. The role involves leading the planning and scheduling of mechanical shutdown and turnaround projects, ensuring efficient execution, resource allocation, and timely completion.
The candidate will coordinate with various stakeholders including engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to develop detailed work plans, manage schedules, and mitigate risks associated with project delays or resource constraints.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in planning and managing mechanical shutdown and turnaround projects in the Oil & Gas industry. Minimum 3 years as Manager experience
- Proficient in project management and scheduling tools, especially PRIMAVERA P6.
- Strong knowledge of shutdown and turnaround processes, procedures, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle complex project schedules.
- Experience working with Saudi Aramco or similar oil & gas clients is preferred.
