Plant Fitter

Aureol Global Connections is seeking an experienced Plant Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fitting, maintaining, and repairing various plant machinery to ensure seamless operations across our projects. This role demands a hands-on approach and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair plant machinery and equipment as per project requirements.
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of plant equipment.
• Interpret and work from technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report any issues promptly.
• Work closely with site supervisors and other team members to optimize equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times.

Requirements

• Relevant vocational qualification or apprenticeship in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Plant Fitter or similar role in industrial or construction environments.
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems, welding techniques, and plant equipment maintenance.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and mechanical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physically fit and capable of working in demanding environments.
• Valid certifications or licenses as applicable.
