Role Overview
As a Tech Lead .NET Developer in the STP Tribe, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable .NET-based solutions that support Euroclear’s digital transformation initiatives. You will be responsible for guiding a team of developers, ensuring technical excellence, and aligning solutions with business goals and architectural standards.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Lead the design and implementation of .NET Core applications
- Define and enforce coding standards, architecture patterns, and best practices.
- Drive the adoption of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Azure DevOps integration.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.
Solution Architecture
- Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Product Owners to define system architecture and integration strategies.
- Ensure alignment with the STP Tribe’s hybrid agile operating model and technical roadmap.
Quality & Testing
- Promote test-driven development (TDD) and ensure robust unit and integration testing.
- Ensure performance, security, and scalability of applications through proactive design and testing.
Collaboration & Agile Delivery
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, PI planning).
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Business Analysts.
- Support delivery planning and contribute to quarterly tribe-level objectives.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Stack
- Languages: C#, .NET 6/7/8, ASP.NET MVC/Web API
- Frameworks: .NET Core, Entity Framework, CQRS, SAGA
- Cloud: Microsoft Azure (Azure DevOps, Service Fabric, OpenShift)
- Databases: SQL Server, MongoDB, Kafka
- Tools: Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Docker, Kubernetes
Architecture & Design
- Strong grasp of software design patterns, clean architecture, and microservices.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, gRPC, and service orchestration.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Proven ability to lead technical discussions and influence architectural decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Certifications: Microsoft Azure (AZ-204, AZ-104), PSM I, PRINCE2 Foundation.
- Experience in financial services or regulated environments is a plus.
