About the role
- Managing purchase trade-offs to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Meeting and exceeding purchase delivery targets consistently.
- Conducting supplier feasibility assessments alongside the CDMM team.
- Tracking progress of projects and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) to ensure milestones are met.
- Developing and overseeing next-step plans for ongoing projects.
- Identifying and understanding risks related to projects and ECNs, and formulating effective mitigation strategies.
- Managing scope changes with collaborative input from the CDMM team.
- Handling critical performance issues, quality deviations, and cost escalations proactively.
- Facilitating inter-functional escalations and trade-offs to maintain project timelines and deliverables.
- Ensuring adherence to Target Cost Price (TCP) specifications and managing deviations in coordination with CDMM.
- Being accountable for all purchase-related decisions, maintaining transparency and alignment with company objectives.
- Supporting integration of systems and fostering coordination between Centre of Excellence (CoE) and Production Engineer Hub (PEH) for timely closure of all engineering deliverables.
- Assisting PEH with detailed decision matrixes to facilitate data-driven trade-off decisions.
- Having strong knowledge of EGS commodities, procurement processes, budget management, and development phases involved in part development.
- Overseeing final commercial closure and handover processes with CDMM for various projects.
Work Experience: 10 -15 Years
Qualififcation: B.tech/M.tech in mechanical
