The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing policy and stakeholder engagement strategies that directly support Lucid’s commercial, regulatory, and industrial objectives in the region. This includes building trusted relationships across government, advising internal leadership on evolving policy dynamics, and proactively shaping regulatory outcomes in support of electric vehicle adoption and broader business priorities. The role requires a highly motivated, pragmatic, and collaborative professional who operates effectively within a structured global organization, demonstrates sound judgment, and delivers consistently under pressure.   Key Responsibilities:  <ul> <li>Lead policy engagement in KSA and priority Middle East markets as the primary point of contact for ministries, regulators, and key stakeholders.</li> <li>Drive execution of Lucid’s regional policy strategy in close coordination with commercial, product, supply chain, and leadership teams.</li> <li>Build and maintain senior-level relationships across government, diplomatic corps, industry associations, and think tanks.</li> <li>Monitor and anticipate regulatory developments, acting as an early warning system for the Director of International Policy and Public Affairs and Lucid’s executive team on beneficial, emerging, or potentially harmful regulations in KSA and other Middle East markets, and providing proactive insights and clear recommendations to leadership.</li> <li>Develop high-quality policy materials and executive briefings.</li> <li>Represent Lucid in external coalitions and industry bodies to advance EV and sustainability policy priorities.</li> <li>Ensure alignment across internal stakeholders and consistency across Middle East markets.</li> <li>Support continuity and strengthening of existing stakeholder relationships and ongoing policy priorities in KSA.</li> </ul>   Minimum Qualifications:  <ul> <li>Required: A bachelor’s degree in political science, law, communications, international relations, public policy, or a related field, with a strong background in the automotive industry and/or relevant experience.</li> <li>Preferred: Candidates with a master’s degree are strongly preferred.</li> <li>Manager: 2–4 years; Senior Manager: 5+ years of relevant experience in public policy, government affairs, or regulatory advocacy.</li> <li>Strong understanding of KSA and Middle East regulatory landscapes, including international trade issues, automotive, energy, and data privacy and cybersecurity.</li> <li>Familiarity with relevant KSA and Middle East government and regulatory frameworks, key stakeholders, policies, and laws.</li> <li>Experience engaging government stakeholders and advising senior leadership.</li> <li>Ability to operate effectively in complex, multicultural, and matrixed organizations.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Native Arabic speaker with strong English proficiency required; other language abilities are a plus.</li> </ul>   Skills: <ul> <li>Strong ownership and drive, with a track record of delivering results in complex environments.</li> <li>Professional maturity and sound judgment, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.</li> <li>Strong organizational awareness and ability to operate effectively within clear structures and lines of accountability.</li> <li>Excellent prioritization and execution under pressure.</li> <li>Collaborative mindset across teams, cultures, and geographies.</li> <li>Ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely to senior audiences.</li> </ul>  <div class="content-conclusion"><div> Compensation & Benefits: Lucid offers a comprehensive and competitive <a href="https://mylucidbenefits.com/">benefits package</a> including medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability coverage; paid time off; paid holidays; and a 401(k) retirement plan.
