We work with leading technologies including AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, and Snowflake, and combine strong engineering culture with a consulting mindset and a continuous focus on growth and knowledge sharing.</span>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><br><br></strong></p> <h2><strong>You will be:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>supporting, maintaining, and enhancing Point of Sale (POS) solutions within a multi-brand retail environment,</li> <li>integrating POS platforms with eCommerce, ERP, and CRM systems,</li> <li>participating in end-to-end implementation and store rollout activities,</li> <li>ensuring reliable and seamless in-store sales operations, including checkout, pricing, promotions, and transaction processing,</li> <li>providing L2/L3 support for business-critical retail systems,</li> <li>troubleshooting production issues and contributing to system stability and performance improvements,</li> <li>collaborating with business and technical teams to deliver effective retail technology solutions.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h2 data-pm-slice="1 1 []"><strong>Your profile:</strong></h2> <ul> <li><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">5–8 years of experience in retail technology, POS engineering, or a similar role,</span></li> <li><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">hands-on experience with Front Systems POS or comparable Point of Sale platforms,</span></li> <li>experience working in a techno-functional role, combining hands-on work with APIs and integrations with a strong understanding of retail business processes,</li> <li>strong understanding of middleware solutions and integration layers,</li> <li>proven ability to support high-transaction, business-critical systems with a strong focus on performance, stability, and reliability,</li> <li>ability to overlap working hours with teams operating in the <strong>Pacific Time Zone</strong> (PST) for a few hours on a regular basis,</li> <li><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">strong understanding of retail store operations, checkout processes, pricing, and promotions,</span></li> <li><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">experience integrating enterprise systems using REST or SOAP APIs,</span></li> <li><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">familiarity with JSON and XML data formats,</span></li> <li><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases,</span></li> <li><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS,</span></li> <li><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">understanding of omnichannel retail environments and integrations between online and offline sales channels,</span></li> <li><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">experience providing L2/L3 support for business-critical applications,</span></li> <li><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">strong analytical and problem-solving skills,</span></li> <li><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams,</span></li> <li><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">good communication skills in English (min. B2),</span></li> <li><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">p</span><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">ractical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve productivity, quality, or decision-making in software delivery.</span></li> <li> <p><strong>Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.</strong></p> </li> </ul> <h2><strong>Nice to have:</strong></h2> <ul> <li><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">experience working within Nordic retail environments,</span></li> <li><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">familiarity with Adobe Commerce, Magento, or similar eCommerce platforms,</span></li> <li><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">participation in large-scale POS transformation or modernization projects,</span></li> <li><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">experience applying GenAI in a more structured way within the SDLC, including defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations embedded into daily work,</span></li> <li><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">interest in and familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices (e.g. agent-based workflows, automation patterns, AI-augmented development), with a willingness to explore and experiment beyond standard approaches.</span></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h2><strong>Recruitment Process:</strong></h2> <p><strong>CV</strong> review –<strong> HR</strong> call – Technical <strong>Interview</strong> – <strong>Client </strong>Interview – <strong>Decision</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
