<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The Senior Power Conversion Engineer is responsible for the performance, reliability, and lifecycle management of power conversion systems across the operating fleet, including inverters, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and related AC equipment.</span></p>
<p><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">This role serves as the technical owner of power conversion system performance—bridging field execution, engineering analysis, and vendor engagement. The position informs equipment selection and design standards for new projects while driving resolution of both systemic and site-specific issues.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">Main Responsibilities: </span></span><span style="font-size: 16px;"></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">· Own the performance and availability of inverter and BESS systems across the fleet.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">· Drive the resolution of major failures, sustained underperformance, and serial defects.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">· Track and analyze performance and reliability metrics to identify emerging risks.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">· Provide advanced troubleshooting support for complex inverter, BESS, and AC system issues.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">· Translate field observations into clear problem statements and actionable solutions.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">· Support O&M teams with structured troubleshooting and escalation.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">· Serve as the primary engineering interface with inverter and BESS OEMs and service providers.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">· Lead technical escalation and resolution of systemic equipment issues, including root cause identification and corrective action implementation.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">· Provide technical oversight of vendor performance, ensuring equipment issues are properly diagnosed, addressed, and resolved.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">· Develop and implement strategies for managing power conversion systems across their lifecycle, including spare parts planning, repowering analyses, and monitoring capabilities.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">· Review and validate inverter and BESS firmware, controls logic, and operating parameters to ensure proper system performance and grid compliance.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">· Support analysis of inverter and BESS interactions with plant-level controls and grid events to improve system response and stability.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">· Identify and evaluate key failure modes and develop mitigation strategies to reduce recurrence and fleet-wide risk.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">· Support long-term planning for major component replacements and fleet upgrades.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">· Drive reliability improvements through PM optimization, failure trend analysis, and standardization of best practices.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">· Support development of condition-based maintenance approaches.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">· Provide operational insight to Delivery teams to inform equipment selection and specifications.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">· Support commissioning review and project turnover into operations.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">· Identify and communicate design or operational deficiencies.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">· Collaborate closely with Asset Management, O&M, Performance Engineering, and Compliance teams to improve fleet performance.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">Qualifications: </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Education</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred)</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Experience</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">· 7+ years working with power conversion systems (solar inverters and/or BESS preferred).</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">· Strong field experience troubleshooting inverter and/or BESS systems.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">· Experience working with vendors and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">· Utility-scale solar, storage, or similar industrial power experience preferred.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Skills</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">· Strong understanding of inverter technologies, BESS systems, and AC power systems.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">· Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">· Experience with root cause analysis and reliability practices.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">· Strong communication skills and ability to influence outcomes across teams.</span></p>
