<p data-start="708" data-end="728">In this role, you will lead the control architecture and system behavior of advanced AC-DC and DC-DC power conversion platforms across low- and medium-voltage applications. You will define and drive control strategies for complex converter topologies, including multilevel and resonant systems. As a Staff engineer, you will own system-level control decisions, set technical direction across programs, and ensure performance targets are achieved from concept through production. You will work across modeling, digital control development, embedded implementation, hardware integration, and validation to deliver robust, scalable, high-performance power conversion solutions. You will also mentor engineers and raise the technical standard of the control organization</p>

<p data-start="731" data-end="827">Own control architecture for advanced power conversion systems across AC-DC and DC-DC platforms.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="828" data-end="966">
<p data-start="830" data-end="966">Own system-level dynamic performance (stability, bandwidth, transient response, robustness, efficiency) from concept through production.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="967" data-end="1083">
<p data-start="969" data-end="1083">Drive control strategy across interacting power stages and ensure stable operation under all operating conditions.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="1084" data-end="1201">
<p data-start="1086" data-end="1201">Define digital control execution requirements and ensure real-time implementation meets system performance targets.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="1202" data-end="1304">
<p data-start="1204" data-end="1304">Lead system-level stability analysis and performance closure under aggressive development timelines.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="1305" data-end="1444">
<p data-start="1307" data-end="1444">Establish validation methodology and acceptance criteria, including frequency response, transient testing, and fault handling robustness.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="1445" data-end="1545">
<p data-start="1447" data-end="1545">Lead complex root-cause investigations across hardware, firmware, sensing, and protection domains.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="1546" data-end="1646">
<p data-start="1548" data-end="1646">Drive control-related risk assessment (DFMEA) and mitigation planning across development programs.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="1647" data-end="1725">
<p data-start="1649" data-end="1725">Ensure control solutions scale across product variants and future platforms.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="1726" data-end="1843">
<p data-start="1728" data-end="1843">Influence system-level trade-offs across topology, sensing, control strategy, performance, cost, and power density.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="1844" data-end="1953">
<p data-start="1846" data-end="1953">Elevate control engineering standards through rigorous design reviews, modeling discipline, and mentorship.</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p data-start="1955" data-end="1973"><strong data-start="1955" data-end="1973">Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul data-start="1974" data-end="3396">
<li data-start="1974" data-end="2111">
<p data-start="1976" data-end="2111">Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience with strong specialization in power electronics and control systems.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="2112" data-end="2239">
<p data-start="2114" data-end="2239">5+ years of experience designing and deploying digital control for power converters in commercial or industrial applications.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="2240" data-end="2431">
<p data-start="2242" data-end="2431">Demonstrated ownership of control architecture or system-level dynamic performance in complex power conversion systems (e.g., multi-stage, high-power, grid-connected, or modular platforms).</p>
</li>
<li data-start="2432" data-end="2592">
<p data-start="2434" data-end="2592">Strong expertise in advanced converter control, including resonant, multilevel, or other high-performance topologies across isolated and non-isolated systems.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="2593" data-end="2731">
<p data-start="2595" data-end="2731">Experience with solid-state transformer (SST) architectures or tightly integrated multi-stage AC-DC/DC-DC systems is strongly preferred.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="2732" data-end="2884">
<p data-start="2734" data-end="2884">Deep command of control theory, including multi-loop stability analysis, loop interaction mitigation, nonlinear system behavior, and dynamic modeling.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="2885" data-end="3009">
<p data-start="2887" data-end="3009">Proven experience implementing and guiding high-performance real-time digital control on embedded platforms (DSP/MCU/SoC).</p>
</li>
<li data-start="3010" data-end="3124">
<p data-start="3012" data-end="3124">Strong proficiency in embedded C and ability to review and influence real-time control implementation decisions.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="3125" data-end="3257">
<p data-start="3127" data-end="3257">Extensive hands-on laboratory experience debugging high-power systems and leading system-level validation and performance closure.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="3258" data-end="3396">
<p data-start="3260" data-end="3396">Demonstrated ability to independently resolve complex, cross-domain technical challenges and drive cross-functional trade-off decisions.</p>
</li>
</ul>
