<p>&nbsp;</p> <table> <tbody> <tr> <td width="121"> <p><strong>Position Title:</strong></p> </td> <td width="270"> <p>Fuel Site Equipment Operator</p> </td> <td width="126"> <p><strong>Date Required:</strong></p> </td> <td width="126"> <p>&nbsp;</p> </td> </tr> <tr> <td width="121"> <p><strong>Department:</strong></p> </td> <td width="270"> <p>Fuel Operations</p> </td> <td width="126"> <p><strong>Location:</strong></p> </td> <td width="126"> <p>Scrubgrass</p> </td> </tr> <tr> <td width="121"> <p><strong>Reports to:</strong></p> </td> <td width="270"> <p>Fuels Supervisor</p> </td> <td width="126"> <p><strong>Status:</strong></p> </td> <td width="126"> <p>Existing Position</p> </td> </tr> <tr> <td width="121"> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> </td> <td width="270"> <p>&nbsp;</p> </td> <td width="126"> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> </td> <td width="126"> <p>&nbsp;</p> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <table> <tbody> <tr> <td width="643"> <p>The person holding this position uses mobile equipment to excavate, farm and handle bituminous waste coal fines and coarse waste coal (gob); reclaims rejected material; utilizes ash to restore the site to approximate original contour; neutralizes rejected materials; and undertakes soil amendment.</p> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Principal Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <table> <tbody> <tr> <td width="643"> <p>1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excavates waste coal and farms waste coal fines.</p> <p>2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Loads and unloads trucks.</p> <p>3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excavates and stores clay for final cover and places, compacts and grades ash.</p> <p>4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Mixes soil for final cover and plants grasses to establish vegetative cover.</p> <p>5.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Services mobile equipment and performs mechanical maintenance work as required.</p> <p>6.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Assists in site maintenance (i.e., maintains entry road by fixing potholes, grading and crowning, clearing culverts, etc., and performs basic site housekeeping).</p> <p>7.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ensures that equipment and site conditions meet MSHA safety and health standards and follows all Company safety and health rules and regulations.</p> <p>8.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Complies with all state, federal and local environmental laws and ensures that site meets environmental requirements by assisting in controlling dust, erosion and sedimentation, and water treatment.</p> <p>9.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Assists in controlling quality of fuel through the use of waste coal sampling, waste coal top sizing and tramp materials.</p> <p>10.&nbsp; Safely operates front-end loader, &nbsp;bulldozer, &nbsp;track excavator, water trucks, dump trucks, pumps, and other site supporting equipment.</p> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Required Job-Related Qualifications:</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <table> <tbody> <tr> <td width="643"> <p>1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; High school diploma or equivalent, and five to 10 years' experience in surface mining or surface reclamation.</p> <p>2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Thorough understanding of heavy equipment operation and mine site reclamation activities.</p> <p>3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to monitor and record fuel site activities.</p> <p>4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to recognize problems and communicate them to appropriate management.</p> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
