Led by one of LA's most prominent and respected neurologists - trained at a top academic medical center - this practice has built a distinguished reputation for delivering compassionate, evidence-based neurologic care to patients across Greater Los Angeles.</p> <p>The founding physician is at an exciting inflection point: the practice is growing, and he is ready to bring on a trusted operational partner who will learn the business from the ground up - directly under his mentorship - and help build the infrastructure to support future expansion, including the opening of additional locations.</p> <p>This is not a "manage the status quo" role. This is a career-defining opportunity for an operationally sharp, patient-centric leader who wants to grow into a senior operations executive alongside one of LA's most respected physicians.</p> <hr> <p><strong>The Mandate</strong></p> <p>The physician is clear about who will thrive in this role - and who will not.</p> <p>He is not looking for someone who needs to reinvent the wheel or impose new systems on day one. He is not looking for a bureaucrat or someone who manages from a distance.</p> <p>He is seeking an operator-learner: someone grounded in healthcare operations, eager to absorb existing systems and processes, and energized by the challenge of running a high-touch, patient-centered practice with excellence. The right person will earn trust quickly, grow into the go-to operational voice of the practice, and ultimately help shape its next chapter of growth.</p> <hr> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own and oversee day-to-day practice operations - scheduling, patient flow, billing coordination, compliance, and facilities</li> <li>Absorb and master existing systems, workflows, and processes before driving optimization or change</li> <li>Manage human resources functions including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and staff development</li> <li>Support and execute marketing initiatives to grow the practice's patient base and community presence</li> <li>Partner with the founding physician on financial oversight including budgeting, expense management, and revenue cycle performance</li> <li>Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, insurance partners, and external stakeholders</li> <li>Champion a culture of compassion and responsiveness - ensuring every patient touchpoint reflects the practice's commitment to exceptional care</li> <li>Collaborate with the founding physician on strategic planning and operational groundwork for future practice expansion</li> </ul> <hr> <p><strong>Ideal Profile</strong></p> <ul> <li>Hands-on operations experience in a medical practice, outpatient clinic, care facility, physical therapy practice, or similar healthcare environment</li> <li>Solid foundation in practice administration - scheduling, staffing, compliance, billing cycles, and day-to-day operational execution</li> <li>A learner's mindset: eager to understand how things work before proposing change</li> <li>Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical setting</li> <li>Genuine commitment to patient-centered care and a people-first approach to team leadership</li> <li>Entrepreneurial energy paired with operational discipline - you want to build something, not just maintain it</li> <li>Clear desire to grow into a Senior Operations Manager or Director of Operations role as the practice scales</li> <li>Ambition to be part of - and eventually help lead - the opening of new practice locations</li> </ul> <hr> <p><strong>Location &amp; Work Model</strong></p> <ul> <li>Westside, Los Angeles, CA</li> <li>Full-time, on-site</li> </ul> <hr> <p><strong>Compensation</strong></p> <ul> <li>Base salary: Starting at $130,000; final compensation commensurate with experience</li> <li>Bonus: Discretionary</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">Base Compensation Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$130,000</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$150,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p data-start="173" data-end="800"><strong data-start="173" data-end="225">Equal Opportunity &amp; Non-Discrimination Statement</strong><br data-start="225" data-end="228">Signal and Strand is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
