<p>Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Senior Practitioner to join its client’s Safeguarding Team, based in Greenwich.<br>The role involves delivering high-quality, person-centred social work within the Adult Safeguarding Team, ensuring the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of vulnerable adults. Responsibilities include managing safeguarding concerns, undertaking statutory assessments, and working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to reduce risk and promote independence.</p>
<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">What will your responsibilities be?</span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li> Lead and coordinate Section 42 safeguarding enquiries in line with the Care Act 2014.</li>
<li>Undertake risk assessments, Mental Capacity Assessments, and Best Interest decisions.</li>
<li>Respond to safeguarding alerts and referrals, ensuring timely and proportionate interventions.</li>
<li>Work closely with health professionals, police, housing, and voluntary sector partners to ensure a multi-agency approach to safeguarding.</li>
<li>Develop and review care and support plans that promote safety, independence, and wellbeing.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and timely case records using the council’s case management system (e.g., Liquid Logic, Mosaic).</li>
<li>Apply professional curiosity and strengths-based approaches to all aspects of practice.</li>
<li>Attend safeguarding strategy meetings, case conferences, and court proceedings as required.</li>
<li>Promote awareness of safeguarding across the wider adult social care service and contribute to service development</li>

<p><span data-contrast="auto">To be successful in this role you must have.</span> </p>

<li><span data-contrast="auto">Social Work England registration</span> </li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Eligible to work in the UK</span> </li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Hold a full UK driving licence</span> </li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Post-qualified experience</span></li>
<li>Degree level or equivalent in Social Work </li>
