About the role

What a Typical Day Looks Like - Field & Office Role

  • Conduct 2–3 on-site customer visits per day
  • Follow up with customers via phone, text, and email
  • Complete file care, documentation, and project setup
  • Collaborate with supervisors and Project Managers to prepare files for construction handoff
  • Split time between the field and the office, with prep work often completed later in the day
  • Meet with homeowners on-site to assess reconstruction needs and explain next steps following property damage
  • Serve as a consultative sales professional, presenting tailored reconstruction solutions and guiding clients through the pre-construction phase
  • Document damages, photos, sketches, and scopes of work accurately and submit all required documentation within 1 business day
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers during the estimating and file care phase
  • Communicate consistently with clients via phone, text, and email to manage expectations and reduce cancellations
  • Navigate insurance processes and attend re-inspections when needed
  • Collaborate closely with supervisors and Project Managers to ensure projects are set up for a smooth transition into construction
  • Manage multiple active files at once while prioritizing customer experience and revenue outcomes
  • Travel to customer homes, job sites, and meetings throughout the workday
  • Participate in team meetings and provide regular updates on active projects
  • Projects are accurately scoped, clearly documented, and handed off seamlessly to Project Managers
  • Customers feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the pre-construction process
  • Cancellations are minimized through proactive communication and solution-oriented problem solving
  • Revenue goals are achieved through consultative selling and trusted relationships
  • Insurance partners and adjusters view you as reliable, responsive, and professional
  • Customers walk away feeling helped — not sold
  • Strong work ethic and extreme ownership mentality
  • Clear, confident, and professional communication skills
  • Comfort with consultative sales and goal-driven performance
  • Empathy and ability to manage difficult or emotional conversations
  • Organization and time management in a fast-paced, field-based role
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt quickly
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Google Suite; Xactimate a plus but not required)
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a larger team

  • $50,000–$60,000 base salary plus performance-based bonuses
