Hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
*Option for additional hours on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. as a gym/music teacher for our 3 year old classes.

Position Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and caring Preschool Head Teacher to lead a classroom of young learners. The Head Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing a preschool curriculum, directing the assistant classroom teacher, fostering positive relationships with families, and ensuring a safe and welcoming learning environment. The position is to teach two classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00-11:30 a.m. and 12:30-3:00 p.m. These classes are the same age children with different students in each class.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
- Create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
- Supervise and mentor the assistant teacher.
- Monitor and assess children's developmental progress. This includes knowledge testing and parent-teacher conferences two times a year.
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and center policies.
- Promote children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Collaborate with administration and fellow staff members to support program goals.
- Teach the gospel of Jesus Christ through Bible learning, music, and prayer.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of preschool teaching experience preferred.
- Strong classroom management and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Organizational skills in lesson planning and implementing.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Passion for working with young children and supporting their growth.
