<p><strong><u>Position Purpose<br></u></strong>The President of Wiehler Mechanical is responsible for leading the company in a way that reflects who we are and how we work. This role is about more than performance; it is about building a company where people take pride in their work, support one another, and are accountable to the commitments they make.</p>
<p>Reporting to the CEO, the President is responsible for executing company strategy across all divisions, including Production Plumbing, Production HVAC, Custom Homes Plumbing, Custom Homes HVAC, Commercial Mechanical, and Service.</p>
<p>Success in this role means delivering strong operational and financial results while protecting and strengthening the culture that makes Wiehler Mechanical what it is.<br><br></p>

<p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities<br></u></strong><strong>Strategic Leadership</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Lead the execution of company strategy across all divisions, ensuring alignment with CEO priorities.</li>
<li>Create clarity and KPI’s around priorities, ownership, accountability, and performance expectations. Do this in conjunction with the people you lead.</li>
<li>Ensure consistent performance in project delivery, service operations, and financial outcomes.</li>
<li>Protect and strengthen the company’s culture as the business grows.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Operational Leadership</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide leadership and direction to divisional managers.</li>
<li>Ensure each division operates effectively while working together as one company to capture the most value from the client flow.</li>
<li>Oversee <em>the systems</em> of execution of projects and service work to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality expectations are met.</li>
<li>Drive continuous improvement in productivity, planning, communication, and execution.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Financial Management & Performance</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Own overall company financial performance, including profitability, cash flow, and financial stability.</li>
<li>Ensure strong job costing discipline, forecasting, and margin management across all divisions.</li>
<li>Approve and manage budgets and operating plans.</li>
<li>Identify risks early and take corrective action where needed.</li>
<li>Ensure financial decisions align with long-term sustainability, not just short-term gain.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>People Leadership & Culture</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Lead, support, and develop divisional leaders and management teams, ensuring they are clear on expectations and accountable for results.</li>
<li>Build a high-performing leadership culture grounded in trust, accountability, and collaboration.</li>
<li>Reinforce a culture where people take ownership of their work, teams support each other, quality is non-negotiable and learning is encouraged.</li>
<li>Address performance issues directly and fairly, without avoidance or blame.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Execution & Communication</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Establish regular cadence for planning, reporting, and accountability across divisions.</li>
<li>Ensure communication flows effectively between leadership, office, and field teams.</li>
<li>Provide CEO with straightforward, honest updates on performance, challenges, and opportunities.</li>
<li>Act as the escalation point for major operational, financial, or people-related issues.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>External Relationships</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Maintain strong relationships with builders, developers, homeowners, suppliers and service clients.</li>
<li>Represent Wiehler Mechanical professionally within the industry and broader business community.</li>
<li>Ensure commitments made to customers and partners are consistently delivered.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Strong financial and operational performance across all divisions.</li>
<li>Operating systems and dashboards that indicate the direction of each division and provide leading indicators of the company’s direction.</li>
<li>Projects delivered on time, on budget, and at a high level of quality.</li>
<li>Growth and reliability of all divisions.</li>
<li>High levels of client satisfaction and repeat business.</li>
<li>A leadership team that is aligned, accountable, and effective.</li>
<li>A culture where people take pride in their work and ownership of results</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><u><br>Qualifications & Experience</u></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Proven senior leadership experience with full P&L accountability.</li>
<li>Experience in mechanical contracting, construction, or a related trade environment is strongly preferred.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of both project-based and service-based operations.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and build culture.</li>
<li>Strong financial and operational acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and job costing.</li>
<li>Experience leading within a private, owner-led, or growth-oriented business environment.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><u><br>Compensation & Long-Term Incentives<br></u></strong>We offer a competitive executive compensation package that includes a base salary of $175,000.00, plus a performance-based annual incentive.</p>
<p>In addition to the short-term performance incentive, this role participates in an equity like program tied directly to enterprise value growth, fully aligning the president’s compensation with the long-term success of the business.</p>
