Will you join us?  About You:    Our clinicians are what make Herself Health great and we have a special DNA – A passion for patient experience, clinical innovation and quality outcomes that empower women to live their best lives. We foster a culture of collaboration, excellence and the willingness to roll up our sleeves and learn as we grow. We are seeking clinicians who resonate with our mission and core values:   Her, First. Curious, Always Learning. Own it, Act. Together, Unstoppable.        The Primary Care Physician’s Role:    The Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) is a key member of our interdisciplinary care team. In the role, you will evaluate our patients’ acute and chronic conditions, manage their multiple medications, mental health, socio-emotional needs, and provide empathetic patient education. The PCP will work closely with fellow clinical teammates to provide comprehensive primary care. While direct patient care is the primary focus of the position, our PCPs also assist with development, implementation, and achievement of key organizational objectives and metrics. Functioning as a value-based care model, our team of clinicians proactively and strategically manage our population’s health in accordance with IHI’s Quintuple Aim, adopt best practices in coding compliance and achieve our HEDIS quality metrics.     We are also on the hunt for future talent, so Residents and Fellows at all levels are encouraged to apply!  Core Qualifications:  <ul> <li>Licensed MD/DO with board certification in Family Medicine (ABFM) or Internal Medicine (ABIM)</li> <li>Experience managing complex diseased longitudinally over time including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, menopause, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, weight management, etc. </li> <li>Understanding or willingness to learn how to practice in a value-based care (VBC) model, including managing the cost and quality of care</li> <li>Experience managing overall patient care and devising individualized care plans</li> <li>Experience educating and counseling patients on health maintenance and disease prevention</li> <li>Experience with geriatric medicine, particularly women</li> <li>Experience with poly-pharmacy management and appropriate medication reduction</li> <li>Experience with physical and gynecological/well-woman examinations in the elderly population</li> <li>Experience working in clinical situations that required adaptability</li> <li>Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills</li> <li>Up-to-date knowledge of medical advancements and technologies</li> <li>Alignment to Herself Health mission and dedication to providing high-quality patient care</li> </ul> Preferred Qualifications:  <ul> <li>Experience in performing clinical procedures within scope of practice (skin biopsies, joint injection, endometrial biopsies)</li> <li>Value-based Care experience and/or VBC training</li> <li>Previous experience in a start-up or new clinic environment</li> <li>Strong technical skills with EMR (Athena preferred) and Microsoft Suite</li> <li>Experience in mentoring, precepting and/or supervision of other provider staff </li> </ul> Other Qualifications:  <ul> <li>Eligibility to obtain or holder of a DEA License and an NPI number</li> <li>Regular maintenance of board certification and CME requirements</li> <li>Passage of the pre-employment background check</li> <li>Eligibility and completion of registration/credentialing with Medicare and private payers</li> <li>Valid state-issued Driver’s License</li> <li>Proof of US Citizenship or Eligibility to Work in the US with a permanent resident card</li> <li>Employees in direct patient care are expected to be fully vaccinated for all communicable diseases including Hepatitis B, MMR, influenza and COVID in accordance with CDC guidelines. </li> </ul> We support Equal Employment Opportunities (EEO).
