Experience & Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Key Stage 1 teaching; prior experience or exposure to SEN settings is preferred
  • A creative, patient approach to teaching, with the ability to engage and motivate young learners in an SEN environment, ensuring that each child feels supported and valued
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with SEN professionals, parents, and support staff to foster a cohesive, collaborative approach to each student’s education
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional growth, particularly in SEN-focused strategies, to enhance your effectiveness and impact as a teacher
  • A current and clear Enhanced DBS check is required to maintain the safety and well-being of all students under your care
