South Coast Baptist College (SCBC) is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join our growing Primary School team for a 0.6 FTE relief contract position during Semester 2, 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is committed to delivering engaging learning experiences and fostering the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth of students within a supportive Christian environment.

About the Role
As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment that supports students to achieve their personal best.
Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs, build strong relationships with students and families, and contribute to the life of the College through a Christ-centred approach to education.
This 0.6 FTE relief contract position will commence at the beginning of Semester 2, 2026, and conclude at the end of the school year, unless otherwise advised.

Essential Requirements
- Hold registration, or be eligible for registration, with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA)
- Hold a recognised teaching qualification
- A personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ
- Active participation in a church or Christian community, exemplifying Christian beliefs, behaviour, and practices
- Acceptance of the College's Statement of Faith
- Ability to build cooperative and supportive relationships with staff, students, and families
- Commitment to maintaining a child-safe environment in line with the College's values and policies
- Commitment to professional growth and personal best practice

- National Police Clearance
- First Aid Certificate
