Primary Therapist

Asheville Recovery Center is looking for a dedicated primary therapist to join our team. Located in Asheville, North Carolina,  Asheville Recovery Center provides a supportive environment for individuals recovering from addiction and alcoholism. We offer a diverse array of therapeutic services, with a focus on individualized care. As a Primary Clinician at Asheville Recovery Center, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of roughly 8-9 clients at a time. This includes weekly one on one sessions, biopsychosocial assessments, and treatment planning. Clinicians are also responsible for maintaining weekly contact with client’s family members and group facilitation. Asheville Recovery center is a client and family centered organization. Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

 

Core responsibilities/Day to Day activities

• Development of treatment plans based on individual problems and needs.

• Maintaining weekly contact with client’s family

• Weekly one on one sessions with caseload of 8-9 clients
  
• 7-9 hours of facilitating groups weekly

Requirements

1. Education – Bachelors level preferred or (related experience in substance abuse field.)

2. Experience - Minimum of 1 year of direct clinical experience is preferred. 

3. Certifications - LCAS, LCAS-A, or CADC (one year experience.)

Nice to have

• Knowledge of alcohol and chemical dependency treatment, rehabilitation programs, and dual diagnosis experience .

• Understanding of the range of treatment and interventions needed for chemically dependent individuals.
