This is an existing vacancy.</p> <h3><strong>Location: Houston&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></h3> <h3><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs), data protection impact assessments (DPIAs), and related risk assessments to evaluate the collection, use, storage, and sharing of personal data.</li> <li>Identify and analyze privacy risks associated with new and existing products, technologies, and business processes, and recommend mitigation strategies.</li> <li>Support website and digital privacy compliance, including reviews of cookies, tracking technologies, disclosures, consent mechanisms, and data flows.</li> <li>Assist in maintaining and updating privacy documentation, policies, notices, and internal guidance materials.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support privacy-by-design principles and ensure privacy requirements are integrated into projects early.</li> <li>Monitor privacy-related issues, escalations, and remediation efforts, tracking actions to completion.</li> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="1" data-aria-posinset="2" data-aria-level="1">Must be able to go on-site in Houston.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h3><strong>Qualifications:</strong></h3> <div class="ewa-rteLine"> <ul> <li>4+ years of experience working in the data privacy space.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience in privacy and data protection, including impact and risk assessments.</li> <li>Strong understanding of website privacy concepts, such as cookies, tracking technologies, and consent management.</li> <li>Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, well-structured assessments, reports, and policies.</li> <li>Strong verbal communication skills, capable of explaining privacy risks and requirements to technical and non-technical audiences.</li> <li>Analytical mindset with attention to detail and sound judgment in risk evaluation.</li> <li>Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.</li> </ul> </div> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h3><strong>Compensation:</strong></h3> <p>The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500-325,000 per year and for non-attorney roles is $71,250-309,750 per year.<strong>&nbsp;</strong>Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.&nbsp; Employees may be eligible for additional benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance; paid holidays and PTO; flexible work arrangements; and professional development opportunities and tools.</p> <h3><strong>About Axiom:</strong></h3> <p>For over 25 years, Axiom has pioneered the alternative legal services industry, now serving more than 1,500 legal departments globally with our unique blend of world-class legal talent and advanced AI tools, delivering innovative solutions ranging from that combine top-tier talent with cutting-edge technology.
