About the role

<p><strong>Job Title: Portfolio Operations Administrator</strong></p> <p><strong>Location: London or Jersey</strong></p> <p><strong>Permanent&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong><br>Overview of the team:</strong></p> <p>Working within BlueCrest’s Private Wealth team, responsible for the operations of the family office portfolio of the CEO and the deferred compensation portfolios for BlueCrest’s global population of portfolio managers.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p><em><strong>Portfolio operations:</strong></em></p> <ul> <li>Maintenance of portfolio records - transaction capture &amp; allocation across investor portfolios.</li> <li>General ledger maintenance for across corporate structures of various complexity.</li> <li>Reconciliation of all portfolio assets</li> <li>Coordinating treasury management - oversight and support of cash flows required for portfolio transactions.</li> <li>Day to day correspondence with investors (BC staff globally) on all portfolio-related queries.</li> <li>Liaising with brokers for the execution of portfolio transactions in liquid markets.</li> </ul> <p><em><strong>Investor reporting &amp; MI:</strong></em></p> <ul> <li>Preparation of portfolio reporting for participants in deferred compensation &amp; private wealth plans.</li> <li>Preparation of regular and ad hoc analysis/MI as required.</li> </ul> <p><em><br></em><strong><em>C</em></strong><em><strong>andidate profile:</strong></em></p> <p><em><strong>Experience:</strong></em></p> <ul> <li>2-3 years experience in the operations &amp; administration of fund/portfolio structures.</li> <li>Comfortable with the management and manipulation of large data sets. Experience with General Ledger systems would be beneficial.</li> </ul> <p><em><br></em><em><strong>Skills:</strong></em></p> <ul> <li>The role requires a motivated and highly committed individual who has a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to analyse and communicate financial information.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all staff, from executive management to traders/portfolio managers and operations professionals.</li> <li>Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a range of competing priorities and projects to tight deadlines.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em>BlueCrest is committed to providing an inclusive environment for its workforce.
