We develop novel manufacturing technologies tailored to the unique demands of RFID endpoint ICs, working closely with&nbsp;OSAT&nbsp;partners to bring R&amp;D innovations to reliable, repeatable production at scale. Our work spans process&nbsp;flow&nbsp;architecture,&nbsp;process development,&nbsp;qualification, yield analysis,&nbsp;reliability&nbsp;testing&nbsp;and failure diagnosis — collaborating cross-functionally with design, test,&nbsp;quality&nbsp;and go-to-market&nbsp;teams at every step.&nbsp;</span></p> <h2><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">What You Will Do:</span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Support process integration for new products from development to mass production</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Execute process optimization projects. Design and manage experiments to optimize process flows for new and existing products</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Analyze process, test, yield, and product performance data for existing products to discover and drive continuous improvements</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Collaborate with silicon process engineers for process development; define experiments and test methods</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Manage reliability and failure analysis tests to evaluate impact on products</span></li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">What You Will Bring:</span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of related experience</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Demonstrated experience with semiconductor process flows including backend, WLCSP, dicing, and advanced packaging technologies</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Applied knowledge of material science and device physics as relates to semiconductor failure mechanisms and process development</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Hands-on experience conducting failure analysis using SEM, TEM, FIB, ion milling, AFM, and related tools to identify root cause and drive corrective actions</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Ability to produce clear technical documentation and present findings to both engineering and cross-functional teams</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Proven experience designing and executing DOEs, applying statistical process control, and performing yield analysis to drive process improvements</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Proficiency in data analysis and automation using one or more of the following: JMP, Minitab, Python, or MATLAB</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and 8D methodologies with experience applying them to solve manufacturing or process challenges</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Ability to travel internationally occasionally as business needs' require</span></li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Compensation &amp; Benefits:</span></h2> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">The benefits listed below may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Impinj and the country where you work.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">The typical base pay range for this role across the US is&nbsp;<strong>$113,900 - $160,800</strong>. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties, requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Both market wage data and the mid-point of the pay range is reviewed and used as the starting point for all new hire offers. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.</span><br><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">At Impinj certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
