Process Technician - China

Overview

Daily shift work to keep high EH&S performance, learn ABS process technology and maintain process high reliability, quality control and build up a team work environment.

Responsibilities

Key Job Responsibilities would include:

1.Operates and field checks process equipment. Monitor process conditions, equipment and control systems.

2.Sample and test process material and products.

3.Uses troubleshooting skills to resolve process-related deviations and problems.

4.Coaches and trains others on plant operations.

5.Initiate and take part in plant performance improvements works in such as production yield, conversion cost and equipment reliability.

6.Performs minor repairs and preventative maintenance.

7.Acts as panel operator. Understands and utilizes the Process Control system for optimal plant operation

8.Per Operating Discipline perform tasks including preparation and return of equipment to\from maintenance; process quality analysis; work permit issuing for risk activities (e.g., electricity, elevated work, hot work, confined space, hydroblasting, open line and equipment).

9.Resolve, record, report and investigate unplanned events linked to EH&S, quality, plant performance, and/or maintenance.

Qualifications

1.Education:  Minimum college diploma in chemical processing; applied chemical science; Marine

2.Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in operating chemical manufacturing facility including foreign investment chemical company.

3.Communication: Fluent in reading English in a work environment.  Able to communicate in written and spoken English.
