When the 2022 national infant formula shortage left parents across the country unable to feed their babies, we closed our storefront to new customers rather than leave a single existing family without formula. We went to Washington. We got loud. And we opened our Heath, Ohio manufacturing facility to make sure something like that could never happen again.</p> <p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]">That's who we are, and that's what you'd be joining.</p> <h2 class="text-text-100 mt-3 -mb-1 text-[1.125rem] font-bold">Bobbie for Change</h2> <p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]">Our advocacy arm, Bobbie for Change, exists because making great formula isn't enough if the systems around parenthood are still broken. We fight for paid federal parental leave, push for legislation to prevent future formula shortages, advocate for feeding equity, and support families navigating impossible situations, including donating formula to parents impacted by breast and gynecologic cancers through the Bobbie Breasties program.</p> <p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]">We're a company that genuinely believes becoming a parent makes you an activist. Technical, computer-interfaced, and documentation-heavy. If something is off here, everything downstream is affected.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>What you'll do every shift</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Operate industrial mixers, homogenizers, heat treatment systems, and spray dryers via HMI controls</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Manage and document bulk ingredient blending, heat treatment, and controlled batch weighing</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Operate, monitor, and document computer-controlled Clean-In-Place (CIP) systems</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Perform CIP, Clean-Out-of-Place (COP), and routine sanitation per SOP</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Complete all batch records and electronic documentation in real time per GDP</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Work cross-functionally with quality, warehouse, and canning as needed</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>A good fit if…</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">You've worked in food processing, pharma manufacturing, or another technical production environment</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">You're comfortable with computer screens and data entry — HMI interfaces are part of every shift</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">You stay calm and methodical when multiple systems need attention at once</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">You have no manufacturing background but you're technically minded, precise, and treat documentation as seriously as the physical work</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>What the processing floor is actually like</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Warm in places — heat treatment and spray drying equipment generates heat; temperature varies by zone</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Technical — you're reading screens and managing process data alongside the physical operation</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Documentation-intensive — a missed entry in a batch record is a nonconformance, not a minor oversight</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Physical — moving between equipment stations and handling ingredient bags up to 60 lbs throughout the shift</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Shift preference</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">All three shifts are available. Being open to more than one shift means a faster offer.</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">3rd shift — permanent overnight (not a rotation), $2/hr more, best if you naturally run on a night schedule</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>What we need from you</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Available every scheduled shift — we use a point-based attendance system; exceeding the threshold is a separation event</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">On your feet 8–10 hours and lifting up to 60 lbs repeatedly — this is physically demanding work, every shift</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Comfortable following written SOPs and completing batch records accurately in real time</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Able to meet GMP requirements: hair net, no jewelry, no nail polish, no fragrances, dedicated footwear — every shift</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Manufacturing experience preferred (food, beverage, pharma, military, trades) — we will train the right person</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>The honest picture: </strong>Regulated infant formula facility.
