With major offices in Herndon, Denver, and Amsterdam, we have a global footprint and a unified team of employees committed to providing a premier customer experience and delivering the full spectrum of data center solutions, from core to edge, like no other data center provider can do.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Focused on driving innovation and helping our customers define and deliver their own unique vision for the Edge, at any scale, in any market worldwide, for any requirement, we are building tomorrow’s data center infrastructure, today for some of the world’s most demanding Network, Content, and Cloud customers.</span></p></div><p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Title: Procurement Operations Analyst I or II</strong></p> <p>The Procurement Analyst II will report to the Purchasing Manager and will undertake a wide variety of tasks to ensure internal and external client support is conducted in a professional and timely manner. The analyst will need to work with other employees, vendors, and procurement to ensure we are supporting the needs and requirements of the business. This will require following the department procedures and standards. As needed, the analyst will also update procedures and other documentation and support the ongoing department goals and objectives.</p> <p><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Issue and manage purchase orders with a focus on General Ledger (GL) coding, workflow routing, subsidiary alignment, and currency requirements.</li> <li>Collaborate with internal requestors to provide updates on purchase order submissions and approval status.</li> <li>Solicit quotations and negotiate terms with vendors including through contracts to support operations and IT needs, ensuring competitive pricing and quality.</li> <li>Oversee and monitor supply inventory held by partner vendors, analyzing quarterly and annual usage to determine purchasing needs.</li> <li>Track project expenditures against approved budgets, driving corrective action when variances arise.</li> <li>Partner in Coupa implementation and Purchasing process redesign to modernize procurement workflows and support company growth.</li> <li>Build and maintain strong working relationships with vendors to ensure reliable service and effective communication and with internal departments including Operations, Accounting, and Legal.</li> <li>Collaborate with the Property Management team to assist with ad hoc purchases as required.</li> <li>Manage vendor portals, including adding new users and monitoring portal usage.</li> <li>Source and procure ad hoc items requested by Operations, IT, or corporate teams, considering factors such as cost, quality, turnaround times, and vendor preferences.</li> <li>Support customer meetings and participate in reviews of ECX support services to ensure alignment with organizational goals.</li> <li>Respond to and resolve inquiries from Accounts Payable regarding purchase orders and invoicing discrepancies.</li> <li>Assist with logistics and shipping coordination to ensure timely delivery of supplies and materials.</li> <li>Work with quotes and documents in Spanish, Dutch, Polish, Hebrew, and German to support diverse vendor and stakeholder needs.</li> <li>Provide KPIs and data analytics as requested</li> <li>Perform additional tasks and ad hoc assignments as directed by the Manager or Supervisor.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications and Education Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Educational Requirements: A high school diploma or GED is required; an associate degree or higher is preferred.</li> <li>Experience: 1-5 years of general work experience.</li> <li>Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in all tasks.</li> <li>Task Management: Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage tasks, prioritize competing responsibilities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.</li> <li>Work Environment Adaptability: Proven capability to work independently and proactively, especially in a remote or hybrid work environment.</li> <li>Detail-Oriented and Organized: Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accuracy in financial coding, and documentation.</li> <li>Technical Skills: Proficiency with software tools for managing purchasing and logistics; experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus, including Netsuite and Coupa.</li> <li>Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address procurement challenges and ensure operational efficiency.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">EdgeConneX believes inclusion – of thought, backgrounds and experiences – affects all that we do, from our employees to the solutions we deliver.
