Procurement Executive

ScioTeq BV is seeking a dedicated Procurement Executive to join our dynamic team in the Procurement department. As a Procurement Executive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our procurement processes and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

• You monitor and improve the cooperation with our suppliers of a specific commodity (i.e. keyboards) on performance, cost, quality and delivery. You pro-actively organize regular business review meetings.

• You negotiate, implement, execute and follow-up contracts with suppliers in order to maximize value for ScioTeq (price, flexibility, risk, product advantage, etc).

• You manage total cost of ownership and risk by maintaining a supplier portfolio and by developing a sourcing strategy for new suppliers.

• You consider customer and regulatory requirements (such as Trade Compliance) throughout the relation with external suppliers.

• You cooperate internally to optimize results.

  o    With logistic buyers in the operational purchasing activities in case of repetitive default and/or deviations from contract.

  o    With the Supplier Quality Assurance team to improve the quality level of the suppliers.

  o    With R&D and Product management for whom you ensure availability of supplier technology roadmaps for key product groups.

• You drive innovation by enabling early supplier involvement working closely together with all internal stakeholders (R&D, Quality, Operations, Product Management, …).

• You report to the VP Operations.

Your profile

• You hold a technical or commercial master or equivalent by experience.

• You have a vast relevant track record in similar markets (e.g. high-tech components, cables, keyboards, PCBA, …)

• You know the craft of purchasing in principle and practice.

• You communicate with impact, you have social relation skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships in challenging circumstances and always interact with respect for cultural differences. You’re fluent in English and Dutch.

• You’re willing to travel occasionally (max. 15 %)

• You know your way around in appropriate IT applications like information exchange applications and ERP tools.

• Your analytical skills, accuracy and high-quality work stand out.

• You are full of initiative and organizational awareness.

• You have a result-oriented and problem-solving mindset.
