<p data-renderer-start-pos="9459" data-local-id="160ea341-a401-49d4-bbc8-a11e2edf8b97"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">What you’ll do</strong></p> <p data-renderer-start-pos="9475" data-local-id="8c4759fb-2481-4ecb-81c0-e80664bce632">Optiver is looking for a Procurement Sourcing Specialist to help enable the business’ strategy through sourcing supplier solutions. The Procurement function, drives strategic initiatives to ensure Optiver is buying goods and services in the most efficient way at the most competitive prices. We firmly believe in balancing a safe, orderly production environment with profitability and sustainable growth.</p> <p data-renderer-start-pos="9869" data-local-id="2d72391a-c151-41a3-80d2-0eacebd3df4c">As a member of the Procurement team, you will individually drive a variety of purchasing initiatives, working with internal stakeholders to purchase goods &amp; services which in turn add value to the business. To deliver this value you will work directly with suppliers to ensure the requirements, commercials and outcomes are meeting expectations.</p> <p data-renderer-start-pos="10216" data-local-id="ddf8699a-2c2f-472f-af2d-9e9604229dc3">You will also collaborate with other members of the Procurement team to analyze our spend, find areas where we can optimize costs by improving how we source and ensuring our suppliers can deliver the right outcome. If you are interested in gaining experience in both the business and technical sides of a market making trading firm while gaining Procurement experience, this role will provide that opportunity.</p> <p data-renderer-start-pos="10628" data-local-id="18eb997b-a421-4f68-a4c7-b8e17725fcc6">As a Procurement Sourcing Specialist, your key responsibilities include:</p> <ul class="ak-ul" data-local-id="6de44a6a-c01b-472a-b4f7-67c6e27a876e" data-indent-level="1"> <li> <p data-renderer-start-pos="10692" data-local-id="74da7868-bbb8-401f-89e1-6502df651085"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Strategic sourcing &amp; category support</strong></p> <ul class="ak-ul" data-local-id="da8c0ecb-37bd-4ae3-b107-be141812b1ad" data-indent-level="2"> <li> <p data-renderer-start-pos="10733" data-local-id="2f62af5f-ee1d-43b6-9f13-801e49b161af">Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements for upcoming sourcing events.</p> </li> <li> <p data-renderer-start-pos="10828" data-local-id="834c6b73-59b2-4a67-8af1-4f275b520f4a">Support or lead sourcing events from commercial and contractual negotiations, focusing on total cost of ownership, requirements and risk.</p> </li> <li> <p data-renderer-start-pos="10969" data-local-id="a9dc1fbe-2373-4e8b-abba-00c028c67aeb">Conduct market and supplier research to identify sourcing opportunities, alternative suppliers and innovation</p> </li> </ul> </li> <li> <p data-renderer-start-pos="11084" data-local-id="58cbdfa0-dd62-4bd1-a02f-4d977e611ddf"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Supplier Relationship Management </strong>–Work with suppliers to remediate any issues in the supply chain that may impact goods and service fulfillment. Lead point on supplier commercial issues to ensure prompt resolution</p> </li> <li> <p data-renderer-start-pos="11301" data-local-id="b591cd84-f462-4a41-996f-cb449b46b96d"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Spend Analytics &amp; Reporting </strong>– Review and analyse spend to identify trends, patterns, and areas for cost optimization.
