About the role

POSITION SUMMARY:


An Associate Producer is a creator at heart. You have an attitude that starts with “I will do what it takes” and ends with “on time and on budget”.  Working on the content team, you will have exposure in helping deliver content to various channels such as social, OLV, influencer and digital OOH to name a few.


As a support staff member for content projects, you will be instrumental in helping producers with the logistics of productions and the tracking of mass assets/versions through the post production and delivery process. You will learn and understand the various nuances of content and the best practices required for each channel. You are a partner to our accounts team, helping to ensure the projects run on time and on budget. 


You are a collaborator to our creative team. With the support from your production team, you will be responsible for bringing ideas from concept to reality. You will be expected to be a problem solver and find creative and scalable solutions to the production process to hit deadlines and budget. You will be the glue between accounts, creative and vendor partners to help bring these ideas to life. 


Overall, you have an aptitude for content creation in various capacities and strive to become a subject matter expert - not only in the logistics to execute, but an expert in channel knowledge to help bring purpose to what you’re creating.


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Work closely with Accounts/PM team on supporting and developing program documentation such as budgets, tracking documents, reports, work back schedules, reconciliations, etc.
  • Remain accountable for helping with aspects of production and understand client-agency process and how to break down divisional barriers to achieve success in the program.
  • Follow Process, trackers, vendor/supplier lists.
  • Work closely with internal post-production / motion design teams.
  • Helps with line producing small shoots (assemble crews, gear, logistics, etc.)
  • Manage and monitor budgets through execution phases.
  • Operate as the point of contact for matters specific to your programs/portfolio during the creative development, production, and reconciliation phases of a campaign
  • Begin to understand the client’s business from a strategic level and align to specific tactical approaches
  • Assist in the consistent delivery of client communications (either direct to the Client or through the Accounts Team). 
  • Serve as a supportive partner to creative and work together to execute best in class creative.
  • Keep projects on track through clear task lists and issue tracking, and effectively communicate project issues and resolutions to the Account Team/Lead.
  • Run scrum meetings for each project and manage QA processes (both internal and client facing)
  • Deliver amazing work but find ways of producing it that do not jeopardize the schedule and budget

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and experience in execution of marketing, content, social, and communications related activities
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities 
  • Experience in Advertising or Production plus, preferably with a background managing/executing content related projects
  • Clarity in written and verbal communication in a professional manner
  • Extremely detail oriented, logical, work-oriented, and analytical
  • Ability to actively listen, ensure understanding, adaptability
  • Ability to work independently, and under pressure in a fast-paced environment while remaining highly motivated
  • Extremely adept in software applications including MS Office, with working knowledge of project management software and financial tool
  • Motivated by a fast moving, collaborative work environment
