About the role
Note from our Hiring Manager, Elisa:
What you will do:
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and designers as a strategic partner throughout the product development lifecycle, using data to shape decisions from ideation to execution
- Design and run A/B tests end-to-end: define hypotheses, calculate sample sizes, monitor experiments, analyze results, and make clear recommendations to the product team
- Build the experimentation framework from scratch: establish best practices for how we design, run, and learn from experiments across the app, website, and partner portal
- Analyze user behavior and product metrics to identify optimization opportunities in our PLG metrics: activation, monetization, retention
- Define and track key product metrics, ensuring the team understands what success looks like and how we measure it
- Translate data insights into actionable product recommendations that directly improve the customer experience
- Build our data culture: teach the product team how to think about experiments, interpret results, and make data-informed decisions
What you will bring:
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Analyst or similar role at a tech company, working alongside product, design, and engineering teams
- Hands-on experience designing and running A/B tests at scale (sample sizing, statistical significance, common pitfalls) and translating results into clear product recommendations
- Experience setting up experimentation frameworks and analytics best practices, ideally from scratch or at an early-stage company
- Proficient in SQL: you can write complex queries independently to extract and analyze large datasets
- Experience creating dashboards with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, or similar)
- Experience with product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar)
- Strong communicator: you translate data into product recommendations that non-analysts can understand and act on
- Proactive and resourceful: you thrive where things aren't fully defined, and you make them clearer
- Startup or fast-paced environment experience. You are comfortable with ambiguity, happy to wear many hats
- Python or R for statistical analysis
- Experience with MongoDB, BigQuery, Snowflake, or Google Analytics
- Experience in travel, marketplace, or subscription business models
- Worked across mobile and web applications
