THE ROLE

At OAK'S LAB, design is central to everything we build.

We're offering the perfect blend of support and responsibility: You will be quickly empowered to take full ownership of challenging design initiatives on one of our live products. This isn't theoretical; this is real-world value creation, collaborating with our experienced engineering and product teams.

Your steep learning curve will be fully supported. You’ll be supported by our Head of Design or a Senior Designer through consistent mentorship and coaching. We're looking for someone who loves to experiment, learn, operate on the edge of technology and eager to tackle any challenge, while helping us keep a consistent high bar of quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conceptualize and design digital products, websites, and brands from discovery to delivery

• Drive product decisions and collaborate closely alongside Tech Leads and Product Managers

• Conduct user research to understand your users and to validate user personas

• Craft a beautiful visual direction and translate it consistently across the entire project

• Ensure adherence to UX/UI standards, elements, patterns, and specifications

• Contribute to project documentation alongside PMs and manage your design delivery based on project milestones.

• Explore new approaches, AI technologies and always be ready to learn

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• 1+ years of experience designing digital products

• A portfolio that demonstrates a eye for aesthetics, a strong taste for visual design, and clear application of UI/UX principles.

• Fluent in English with strong communication skills to present and effectively advocate for your ideas

• Interest in visual design, user experience and ideally also branding

• Experience working with Figma (Adobe Creative Suite is a nice-to-have) and exposure to user/app analytics tools to measure design impact.

• Strategic and analytical thinking combined with a proactive, collaborative team spirit

• A genuine interest in tech, emerging AI technologies, product development, and continuous self-improvement.
