Senior Product Designer

<h3><strong>ABOUT THE ROLE</strong></h3> <p>We are looking for a <strong>Senior Product Designer (UI/UX-focused)</strong> to join our Product Design team at RootstockLabs.</p> <p>This is a <strong>product-first role</strong>. We are looking for someone who can <strong>own the end-to-end product design process</strong>, deeply understand user problems, and translate them into intuitive, scalable solutions across web and mobile. The role requires a <strong>strong emphasis on UX thinking and high-quality UI execution</strong>. Both are equally important.</p> <p>You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to design user-centered experiences and contribute to the evolution of our design system.</p> <p>While the primary focus of this role is product design, <strong>experience with illustration and motion design is a strong plus</strong>. The ability to enhance product experiences with custom visuals, storytelling, or motion/video assets will significantly increase your impact.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h3><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Own the <strong>end-to-end product design process</strong> from problem definition to final delivery</li> <li>Identify and validate user pain points through <strong>research, prototyping, and testing</strong></li> <li>Translate product and business requirements into<strong> clear, intuitive design solutions</strong></li> <li>Design high-quality user experiences across <strong>web and mobile</strong></li> <li>Create and deliver <strong>pixel-perfect UI</strong> with strong attention to detail (layout, typography, hierarchy)</li> <li>Build, maintain, and evolve a <strong>scalable design system</strong></li> <li><strong>Design and produce print materials</strong> (e.g., brochures, event assets) as needed to support business and marketing initiatives</li> <li>Collaborate closely with <strong>Product Managers, Engineers, and Marketing teams</strong></li> <li>Ensure consistency across all product and brand touchpoints</li> <li>Conduct design QA and iterate based on feedback and performance</li> </ul> <p><br><br></p> <h3><strong>WHAT YOU BRING</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>7+ years</strong> of experience in<strong> product design (UX/UI)</strong></li> <li>Strong experience designing<strong> end-to-end product experiences</strong> (not just visuals)</li> <li>Proven expertise in <strong>UX thinking, flows, and problem-solving</strong></li> <li>High level of <strong>UI craft and visual execution</strong></li> <li>Strong experience working with and scaling <strong>design systems</strong></li> <li>Ability to work <strong>hands-on</strong> while thinking strategically</li> <li>Experience collaborating with <strong>engineering and product teams</strong></li> <li>Ability to work autonomously in a <strong>remote, cross-timezone environment</strong></li> <li>Fluent English (spoken and written)</li> </ul> <h3><strong>NICE TO HAVE</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Experience in <strong>Web3, crypto</strong></li> <li>Experience with <strong>motion design, including video creation (not only micro-interactions)</strong></li> <li>Experience with <strong>illustration or custom visual assets creation</strong></li> <li>Basic understanding of<strong> front-end development</strong></li> <li>Experience working in <strong>fast-paced startup environments</strong></li> </ul> <h3><strong>ROOTIES BENEFITS</strong></h3> <p>At RootstockLabs, we don’t just offer a job, we offer a community.
