This isn’t just about refining a feature; it’s about defining the future of how millions of people bring their ideas to life.</p> <p>As a key leader within the Canvas Modes stream, you will lead the long-term design strategy for Prototyping at Miro. We are looking for an&nbsp;<strong>AI Native designer </strong>-<strong> </strong>someone who doesn’t just see AI as a feature but as a fundamental shift in the product development process and ultimately, a massive opportunity.</p> <p>You will be tasked with shaping not just where Miro’s Prototype offering should be, but where it is going - ensuring we aren't just keeping pace with the market, but setting it.</p> <h4><strong>What you’ll do</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Define and drive the North Star for Miro Prototyping. You’ll articulate a vision that disrupts the norms and looks where the market is going.</li> <li>Be a tireless innovator in the AI space. You will explore how generative AI can collapse the gap between a rough sketch and full functioning app.</li> <li>Approach the product with an entrepreneurial spirit and sense of ownership. You’ll navigate ambiguity, build lean experiments, and treat the Prototyping mode as your own startup within Miro.</li> <li>Leverage your deep understanding of the design tool landscape to create a best-in-class experience that rivals any competitor while maintaining Miro’s ease of use and considering our other suite of formats.</li> <li>Partner with Product and Engineering to solve complex technical challenges around AI quality, discoverability, and the seamless transition between the ‘infinite canvas’ and ‘Prototypes Focus Mode’.</li> <li>Set the bar for design excellence at Miro, mentoring other designers and contributing to the evolution of our design systems and internal tooling.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>What you’ll need</strong></h4> <ul> <li>10+ years of product design experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or AI-focused roles.</li> <li>At least 2-3 years operating at a Staff / Principal level, with proven ownership of complex initiatives.</li> <li>A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create clear, user-focused products and strategies. Demonstrating both the impact on user experience and business goals.</li> <li>A deep understanding of AI and AI design tooling and the ability to show you’re leading the charge.</li> <li>Proven experience working closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, UX design, and engineering, to deliver seamless content solutions.</li> <li>Deep understanding of UX practices, information architecture, and user-centred design methodologies.</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate the value of design and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.</li> <li>A proactive and flexible approach, comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment and managing multiple priorities.</li> <li>Experience working on design tools, editors, or creative software is a massive plus.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>What's in it for you</strong></h4> <p>We want you to feel supported, connected, and ready to grow.
