For our Product Family Site Logistics & Management Operations we are searching for a technically interested Product Engineer in the product area Warehouse Management, especially with good knowledge in SAP EWM, as well as developing with ABAP / ABAP OO.

•    Enable and support internal business partners (IBP’s) to achieve BASF business goals through providing best-in-class IT and digitalization solutions in WM & EWM environment
•    Drive the technical implementation of IT and digitalization solutions for BASF in engineering, maintenance and operations
•    Continuously improves methodology, tools, guidelines and techniques for business requirement engineering
 

Main Tasks:

•    Works in a DevOps environment, keeping strong communication with the team within in an agile way of working
•    Defines the solution and technical design based on business requirements 
•    Analyzes, models, consults and optimizes business process solutions
•    Collaborates with different business partners, e.g. Internal business partners, process architecture and IS strategy & enterprise architecture
•    Contributes to project planning, cost estimations and supports UAT testing, training and service transition to operations/support organization for projects and change requests
•    Coordinates activities which are necessary for the technical implementation throughout all project phases
•    Ensure the readiness and preparation of the organization to provide ongoing support and optimizations for implemented solutions in a sustainable way throughout all life cycle phases   

Requirements

Essential Technical skills
•    ABAP + ABAP OO
•    RF Screen Development / Experience with RF Scanning software

Experience in the following SAP Modules (priority on order)
•    EWM
•    LE (Logistics Execution)
•    WM
•    MM

Additional helpful SAP module experience, contributing to EWM & WM
•    PP, QM, MM, SD, TM
