<h2><strong>Role overview</strong></h2>
<p>We’re hiring an <strong>Onboarding Specialist</strong> to own complex, multi-month customer implementations from kickoff to go-live. This role is project-management heavy: you’ll derisk programs, coordinate stakeholders across functions, manage timelines and dependencies, and ensure clients successfully adopt Aktos.</p>
<h2><strong>What you’ll do</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Own 3+ month onboarding programs end-to-end — create and run project plans, track milestones, and remove blockers to keep implementations on time<br><br></li>
<li>Lead stakeholder management — map sponsors, align cross-functional stakeholders, run steering calls, and negotiate scope/timing tradeoffs<br><br></li>
<li>Proactively derisk implementations — maintain risk registers, define gating criteria, escalate appropriately, and keep executive stakeholders informed<br><br></li>
<li>Diagnose technical and product blockers — analyze data mismatches, product configuration gaps, integration issues, and propose pragmatic fixes<br><br></li>
<li>Collaborate with product & engineering — surface recurring issues, document patterns, and recommend product improvements to reduce future onboarding effort<br><br></li>
<li>Standardize and scale onboarding — create playbooks, runbooks, templates, and internal documentation to speed up future implementations<br><br></li>
<li>Communicate clearly with clients — set expectations, guide them through setup, and resolve questions efficiently<br><br></li>
<li>(Bonus) Perform light technical work — data imports, SQL lookups, API checks, test configurations, and validation of integrations</li>

<h2><strong>Who this role is for (Ideal backgrounds)</strong></h2>
<p>We’re explicitly looking for people who have <em>led long, complex onboarding programs (3+ months)</em> where project management, stakeholder management, and derisking were the day-to-day work. Typical backgrounds we love include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Implementation/Professional Services at an <strong>enterprise SaaS</strong> vendor (ERP, CRM, HRIS, billing/collections) — titles like <em>Implementation Manager</em>, <em>Senior Onboarding Specialist</em>, <em>Professional Services Consultant</em>, or <em>Technical Project Manager (Onboarding)</em><em><br><br></em></li>
<li>Customer Success/Onboarding leads at companies that deliver <strong>3–6 month</strong> deployments (examples: NetSuite, Salesforce, Workday, Oracle NetSuite, Zendesk/Support Enterprise, HubSpot Enterprise)<br><br></li>
<li>Project managers or consultants who managed customer rollouts at payroll/benefits, billing platforms, or other regulated vertical SaaS with complex integrations and data migrations<br><br></li>
<li>People from consulting practices or systems integrators who ran scoping, SOWs, and cross-functional delivery for multi-stakeholder clients<br><br></li>

<p>If you’ve had titles like <strong>Implementation Manager, Professional Services Manager, Customer Onboarding Manager, Technical Project Manager — Implementation, or Senior Onboarding Specialist</strong> and you’ve driven multi-month, enterprise-style implementations, you’ll fit well.</p>
<h2><strong>What you’ll need</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>1–3 years experience in SaaS onboarding, implementation, or project management — <strong>must</strong> include ownership of 3+ month onboarding programs or equivalent enterprise engagements<br><br></li>
<li>Strong project management and stakeholder management skills — project plans, risk registers, gating, escalation, and executive reporting<br><br></li>
<li>Basic SQL and Excel skills (able to run lookups and validate data); comfort with light technical troubleshooting<br><br></li>
<li>Strong written and spoken English communication<br><br></li>
<li>Excellent organization and attention to detail<br><br></li>
<li>Comfortable working across time zones in a fast-paced startup<br><br></li>
<li>Bonus: experience with customer data migrations, APIs, Postman, Zapier or other workflow automation tools<br><br></li>

<h2><strong>Compensation</strong></h2>
<p>Competitive salary based on experience: $40K–$60K USD / year (some flexibility for exceptional candidates)</p>
