<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Business Insider is hiring a Staff Product Manager to join our Product Team. </strong></span></p>

<h3><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>The Role</strong></span></h3>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">As Staff Product Manager, Monetization, you will lead the strategic direction for Business Insider’s monetized product ecosystem across subscriptions, advertising, and hybrid revenue models. You will own a core product domain with deep expertise, balancing tactical execution with long-term strategic vision to ensure monetization strengthens audience value, trust, and business growth.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">You will partner closely with engineering, design, analytics, subscriptions, revenue, editorial, marketing, and business development to define the roadmap, shape investment priorities, and drive high-impact initiatives across the monetization portfolio. You will also play a key role in improving product development processes, mentoring product managers, and helping the broader organization make better decisions through clear strategy, strong judgment, and effective communication.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">This role reports to the VP, Product, and is based in our New York City HQ with a periodic in-office presence.</span></p>
<h3><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></span></h3>
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Lead product strategy and execution across Business Insider’s monetization portfolio, with a strong emphasis on subscription growth, engagement, retention, and renewals.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Own the long-term vision, roadmap, and success metrics for a core monetization domain, ensuring product investments align with company goals and customer needs.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Identify opportunities to improve the subscriber experience across the lifecycle, using research, experimentation, and data to inform priorities and validate impact.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Partner with cross-functional teams to launch and iterate on products that drive conversion, reduce churn, deepen loyalty, and create sustainable revenue growth.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Drive complex, cross-functional initiatives that require strong judgment, stakeholder alignment, and clear communication across teams and leadership.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Improve product development processes and ways of working to increase clarity, speed, and effectiveness.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Mentor Product Managers and serve as a strategic thought partner to leadership on monetization opportunities, tradeoffs, and priorities.</span></li>
</ul>
<h3><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>The Ideal Candidate Has</strong></span></h3>
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Significant product management experience, including ownership of complex product areas and initiatives with measurable business impact.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Deep experience in subscription and monetization products, including areas such as acquisition, paywalls, onboarding, pricing, retention, churn, and renewals.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">A strong track record of using data, experimentation, and customer insight to shape product strategy and drive growth.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels, connecting near-term delivery to long-term product and business vision.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions across a broad group of partners.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience improving team processes, mentoring PMs, and helping raise the quality of product thinking across an organization.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Figma, Looker, and Google Analytics.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">A passion for building audience-centered products and sustainable consumer revenue models.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Salary & Benefits:</strong></span></p>

<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Base salary: $150,000 - $160,000 (dependent on skills, experience, and competencies)</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Additional bonus</span></li>
