<p class="p2">The Senior Product Manager will independently lead product strategy and execution in alignment with company strategies by leveraging and contributing to company frameworks such as OKRs/OGSPs. This role owns development and communication of the long-term vision and goals that drive the strategy for a portfolio of products, features, and tools, and will drive cross-functional alignment to execute against that vision. This role will have expanded influence through the identification and delivery of business value, and collaboration with a wide set of cross functional and business-centric peers.</p>
<p class="p2"><strong>Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Set the overall direction for the product(s) and ensure it aligns with the organization’s goals and user needs.</li>
<li>Guide products through the full product lifecycle, including product and market research, customer analysis, planning, requirements and roadmap development, product launch, and product lifecycle management</li>
<li>Develop, track and report on product strategy and team KPIs</li>
<li>Drive loosely-framed and somewhat ambiguous product initiatives independently.</li>
<li>Set and communicate clear expectations for their team roadmap, both internally within the team and with stakeholders in the company.</li>
<li>Create cross-functional alignment needed to execute on projects.</li>
<li>Direct the agile methodology and operations of the team.</li>
<li>Engage productively in engineering conversations and understand architectural tradeoffs to intuit the right decisions.</li>
<li>Recommend technical approaches from previous experience or knowledge of emerging practices.</li>
<li>Use data, user feedback, and market research to prioritize product backlogs, addressing the most valuable improvements first</li>
<li>Make informed decisions about product strategy, feature prioritization, and areas for improvement using metrics and data to determine how products are performing.</li>
</ul>
<p class="p2"><strong>Things That Should Be In Your Background:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>5-8 years of product management experience or related field. </li>
<li>Several years of proven experience in product management or a related field, with a track record of successful product launches and cross-functional team leadership</li>
<li>Experience building and owning a product roadmap</li>
<li>Structured and data-driven thinking with a strong bias to action</li>
<li>Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills</li>
<li>Strong empathy and intuition for our learners and customers</li>
<li>Experience with agile software development</li>
<li>Desire to improve access to education around the world</li>
<li>Strong understanding of technical concepts</li>
<li>This role requires a working knowledge of product management in a software development setting. We expect this individual to be able to operate without up-front training.</li>

<p class="p1">The anticipated base salary range for this role is ($150,000 -$172,000), with potential bonus eligibility. Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, budget for the position and cost of labor in the market in which the candidate will be hired.</p>
