<p><strong>Job Summary</strong><br>As a Product Manager at GovTech, you will play a pivotal role in transforming government services through data-driven insights. You will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, leveraging data analytics to identify opportunities for improvement, optimize processes, and enhance decision-making across various government initiatives.</p>
<h3>Job Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Collaborate with various government agencies and stakeholders to understand their business processes, challenges, and data requirements.</li>
<li>Translate complex business problems into clear, actionable data analytics requirements and user stories.</li>
<li>Perform in-depth data analysis using various analytical tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights from large datasets.</li>
<li>Develop and implement data visualization dashboards and reports to communicate key findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li>
<li>Evaluate the effectiveness of digital services and initiatives using data-driven metrics and provide recommendations for optimization.</li>
<li>Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and developers to ensure the successful implementation of data solutions.</li>
<li>Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate solutions and ensure they meet business needs.</li>
<li>Stay abreast of industry best practices in data analytics, business intelligence, and digital government.</li>
<li>Contribute to the continuous improvement of GovTech's data analytics capabilities and frameworks.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Job Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.</li>
<li>Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Manager, with a strong focus on data analytics projects.</li>
<li>Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R).</li>
<li>Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView).</li>
<li>Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling.</li>
<li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.</li>
<li>Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.</li>
<li>Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Experience in the public sector or with government digital services projects is a plus.</li>
<li>Familiarity with agile methodologies is advantageous.</li>
</ul>
<p>As a product manager, you will also have to plan and manage product budget, schedule, backlogs, vendors and stakeholders.</p>
<h3>The job scope include</h3>
<ul>
<li>Overall incharge of the product development</li>
<li>writing paper for funding</li>
<li>drafting contracts document, calling tender when required and conducting tender evaluation with a group of appointed working group</li>
<li>overall incharge of managing security implementation and ensuring governance in compliance with the government and the agency's security policies and guidelines.</li>
<li>overall incharge of any audits conducted on the product that include the ICT implementation and security controls, funding and procurement aspect.</li>
<li>organising meetings</li>
<li>manage contracts and cntractors</li>
<li>scan market for latest technology to scale the product</li>
<li>liaise with product vendors/ principals including inviting suitable product vendors to demonstrate and present their product to product owners and stakeholders, plan adoption of the product after obtaining endorsement from stakeholders</li>
<li>work with a team of data engineers, software engineer and sdata analysts to ensure product implementation and scaling</li>
<li>manage budget and schedule to meet the target</li>
</ul>
