<p>You will drive the development of digital products that improve waste management and promote sustainable practices across government agencies and for citizens. Working across policy, design, and engineering, you will bridge user needs, technical capabilities, and national sustainability goals — shipping products that help policymakers, businesses, and households take action on waste.</p>

<p>A waste data platform that gives policymakers deeper visibility into waste flows to design more targeted interventions</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>A reporting portal that helps businesses and waste collectors meet their obligations simply and accurately</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>A public recycling portal that helps households recycle more effectively and understand the impact of their actions</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Define user needs through research and interviews; conduct market analysis and competitive assessments to identify opportunities in waste management</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Write clear problem statements and translate them into actionable product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Prioritise the product backlog and make prioritisation calls with guidance from the senior PM</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Work with design and engineering to ship, iterate, and continuously improve user experience across all three products</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Use data and product metrics to evaluate the impact of shipped features and inform future decisions</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Collaborate with government agencies, industry partners, and citizens to ensure solutions are impactful and widely adopted</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Communicate product updates, progress, and challenges to stakeholders at all levels</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Champion agile practices — stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives</p>
</li>

<p>1–3 years in product management or a closely related role</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Able to articulate a user problem clearly and connect it to a proposed solution</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Comfortable with ambiguity and iterating based on new information</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Strong written communication — documentation clear enough that teams can act without a meeting</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to define and track key product metrics</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field</p>
</li>
</ul>

<p>Experience on products used by businesses or operators with reporting obligations</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Exposure to data products or public-facing digital services</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Experience working in or with government agencies</p>

<p>Familiarity with agile tools such as Jira or Confluence</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Interest in sustainability, environment, or government policy</p>
</li>
