<p><strong>Summary: </strong></p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><strong>CPI Security, in Charlotte, NC, is looking to hire a full-time Product Owner </strong>located in office at our corporate headquarters. The Product Owner is responsible for</span></span> maximizing the value delivered by the product development team by defining and prioritizing the product backlog. Acting as a bridge between stakeholders and the development team, the Product Owner ensures that the team delivers high-quality products aligned with business objectives and customer needs. This role requires strong collaboration, decision-making, and strategic thinking to translate vision into actionable work while fostering an Agile culture.</p>

<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Define, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog to ensure it reflects business priorities and user needs.</li>
<li>Write, refine, and complete user stories, including detailed requirements and acceptance criteria, to provide clear and actionable guidance to the development team.</li>
<li>Ensure backlog items are well-groomed and ready for development, reducing ambiguity and supporting efficient delivery.</li>
<li>Serve as the primary liaison between the development team, business stakeholders, and customers.</li>
<li>Actively engage with stakeholders to understand business goals, gather requirements, and ensure alignment on product vision and priorities.</li>
<li>Define and communicate the product vision, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market demands.</li>
<li>Stay informed about industry trends, customer feedback, and competitive insights to shape the product roadmap.</li>
<li>Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.</li>
<li>Ensure the development team has a clear understanding of priorities and objectives for each sprint.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the team to deliver incremental value, ensuring product releases meet quality and business expectations.</li>
<li>Prioritize features and enhancements to balance technical debt, user satisfaction, and business value.</li>
<li>Stay updated on Agile methodologies, industry standards, and technological advancements.</li>
<li>Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team feedback and adapting processes as needed.</li>
<li>Actively participate in Agile communities and learning opportunities to enhance knowledge and bring innovative ideas to the organization.</li>
<li>Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics to evaluate the impact of delivered features.</li>
<li>Regularly review and analyze product performance, providing insights for improvement.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Job Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.</li>
<li>Certified in Project Management Professional (PMP). </li>
<li>Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a similar role within an Agile environment.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of Agile principles and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).</li>
<li>Experience with product lifecycle management and delivering customer-centric solutions.</li>
<li>Familiarity with product management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.</li>
<li>Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and technical environments.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Additional:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar Agile certification preferred.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate requirements and prioritize work.</li>
