About the role
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in executing daily and weekly production schedules based on planning input.
- Monitor timely delivery of materials and components to production lines.
- Issue and maintain shop floor documentation and work orders.
- Communicate with internal teams to resolve scheduling issues.
- Maintain accurate records of production data against WO
- Assist in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and preparing basic reports.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to production control and material flow.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to present ideas in a clear and persuasive manner, both orally and in writing.
- Capability to respond quickly, decisively, assertively, and professionally to changing requirements in demand, product description, and material demand.
- Excellent judgment and initiative, including the ability to effectively balance multiple priorities
- Minimum of three to five years of production planning or material management experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment, ideally PCBA /SMT experience
- Experience in a high mix/low volume, pull-based manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of success and growth in positions of increasing responsibility.
- Previous experience with SAP.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Management, Finance, Materials Management, Computer Information Sciences, or Engineering, or equivalent education and/or experience.
