Please take a moment to browse through our website and learn more about what it means to serve with MKS2.</p> <hr> <p>&nbsp;</p></div><p>Production Hardware Electrical Engineer<br></p> <p>Location: Tucson, AZ</p> <p>This role supports production operations by troubleshooting complex electrical and electronic systems, driving root-cause investigations, resolving factory and supplier issues, and implementing corrective actions. The engineer will coordinate across cross-functional teams to develop and execute resolution plans, maintain technical documentation, and support manufacturing yield improvements.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Troubleshoot production, factory, and supplier-related electrical issues.</li> <li>Perform root-cause investigations and corrective action implementation.</li> <li>Develop and execute troubleshooting plans while coordinating cross-functional teams.</li> <li>Drive issues to completion through ownership, communication, and status reporting.</li> <li>Maintain Technical Data Packages (TDPs) and create engineering change documentation using cPDM.</li> <li>Present engineering changes to Review Boards and Change Boards.</li> <li>Participate in peer reviews across Engineering and Operations teams.</li> <li>Utilize lab equipment including:</li> <li>Oscilloscopes</li> <li>Logic analyzers</li> <li>Function generators</li> <li>Programmable power supplies</li> <li>Spectrum analyzers</li> <li>Network analyzers</li> <li>Analyze defect and yield data to identify and implement process improvements.</li> <li>Support manufacturing and production operations for electronic assemblies.</li> </ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.</li> <li>Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.</li> <li>Active Secret Security Clearance.</li> <li>Experience with one or more of the following:</li> <li>Digital electronics</li> <li>Analog electronics</li> <li>RF systems</li> <li>Mixed-signal systems</li> <li>Electro-mechanical systems</li> <li>Experience troubleshooting and debugging complex circuit card assemblies (CCAs).</li> <li>Experience performing Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations.</li> <li>Manufacturing or production support experience for electronic assemblies.</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret:</li> <li>Electrical schematics</li> <li>PCB layouts</li> <li>Bills of Material (BoMs)</li> <li>Hands-on proficiency with electrical test equipment.</li> </ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Previous Raytheon production support engineering experience.</li> <li>Experience supporting:</li> <li>EO/IR systems</li> <li>RF systems</li> <li>Sensors/Seekers</li> <li>Electronic subsystems</li> <li>Circuit design and circuit card assembly experience.</li> <li>Production support of test equipment and automated test systems.</li> <li>PCB fabrication and assembly process experience.</li> <li>Subsystem integration and test experience.</li> <li>Post-test or flight test analysis experience.</li> <li>Statistical Process Control (SPC) experience.</li> <li>Engineering Change Notice (ECN) implementation experience.</li> <li>Technical writing and formal presentation experience.</li> <li>Experience with:</li> <li>Mentor Graphics Designer</li> <li>PSPICE</li> <li>SystemVision</li> <li>MATLAB</li> <li>Mathcad</li> <li>IDL</li> <li>CST</li> <li>HFSS</li> <li>ADS</li> <li>Ability to work independently and provide technical leadership within a small engineering team.</li> <li>Experience with cost estimation, reporting, proposal support, and technical oversight.</li> </ul> <p></p><div class="content-conclusion"><hr> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Diversity creates a healthier atmosphere: MKS2 Technologies is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, protected veteran status, disability status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law.</p></div>
