Production Operative - Welwyn Garden City

Newstaff Employment Services is seeking a motivated Production Operative to join our team in Welwyn Garden City. This role is vital in ensuring smooth and efficient production processes, contributing to the delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment safely and accurately following company procedures.
• Assemble products to the required standard.
• Perform regular quality inspections to ensure product specifications are met.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations.
• Report any production issues or equipment faults promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing role is advantageous.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality focused.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours.
• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.

• Temp-to-perm opportunity £14 per hour with a pay increase after 3 months

• Full-time hours, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm
