L3 Production Support Engineer (Java, SQL, Linux)

<p><strong>Important Information</strong></p> <p>Experience: +6 years</p> <p>Job Mode: Full-time</p> <p>Work Mode: <strong>Hybrid position to work 4 days per month at the client's office in Mexico City or GDL</strong></p> <p>ID: 19966</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Essential Skills</strong></p> <p>Exp: 7-10years hands on application development, L3 and/or L2+ who is ready to pick up L3 part.<br>Having Advanced Java/j2ee experience (Rest api, servlet, JavaScript/html, jsp, jdbc, struts, Hibernate, Spring)<br>Mid- to- Advanced experience in AWS Cloud (EC2/Lambda, Amazon CloudWatch, IAM, S3, RDS &amp; DynamoDB/MongoDB) in to Support function.<br>Good exposure using AI models in support function.<br>Advanced level experience to work with multi server/Tier: Tomcat, Jbosss, WebSphere and Weblogic servers.<br>Advanced hands-on experience in Database (DB2, Oracle and Sybase.. etc)<br>Mid- to- Advanced Unix and scripting (shell/perl.. etc)<br>Good hands-on in understanding and making changes in shell/perl scripts<br>Having good experience in job scheduler monitoring tools (Autosys, procmon, crontab.. etc)<br>Advanced hands on experience IDE’s like Eclipse, NetBeans.<br>Mid – to Advanced experience on using Git, Jenkins and other repo/deployable<br>Having mid to advanced experience in Support model (L2+/L3)<br>Good exposure to production tooling (ticking/monitoring) like Jira, ServiceNow and processes (familiar with Incident/problem) and change mgnt<br>Good experience in making the code (Java, Unix, DB) changes in production and able to run<br>Certifications: AWS certifications (preferred)</p> <p>- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.<br>- 5+ years of experience in L3 support or similar roles.<br>- Strong proficiency in JAVA programming and application support.<br>- Good Troubleshooting skills in analyzing System and Application logs and working experience of support function in distributed systems.<br>- Proficiency with Linux-based operating system, commands, and utilities.<br>- Strong ability to debug application issues to identify the underlying root cause<br>- Good communication skills with ability to articulate the technical and functional aspects of a production problem to help drive solutions with App Dev teams.</p> <p><strong>Preferred:</strong><br>- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS).<br>- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About Encora</strong><br><br>Encora is the preferred digital engineering and modernization partner of some of the world’s leading enterprises and digital native companies.
