<p>Urschel, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst to join our IT team. The position is not remote and will be required to report daily to the Corporate Headquarters in Chesterton, Indiana.</p>
<p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities: </u></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software applications and database systems</li>
<li>Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions</li>
<li>Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot existing applications and systems</li>
<li>Provide technical support and training to end users</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system functionality and performance</li>
<li>Ensure data integrity, reliability, and system security</li>
<li>Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives</li>

<p>The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to collaborate with both technical and business teams to deliver high-impact solutions.</p>
<p><strong><u>Required Qualifications: </u></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)</li>
<li>5+ years of experience in application development and systems analysis</li>
<li>Strong experience with SQL Server, database design, and query optimization</li>
<li>Experience with modern Windows-based and web-based application development such as C#, .NET, and Python. </li>
<li>Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment</li>
</ul>
