<p><strong>Position Description:</strong><br>• Review Bond Program invoices and encumbrances and process per accounting procedures.<br>• Assist Finance and Accounting team with analyses of ongoing financial activity for the Bond <br>Program.<br>• Identify discrepancies or inconsistencies in invoice documentation and resolve <br>expeditiously.<br>• Ensure invoice and encumbrance entries in PMIS (Proliance) are correct and supporting <br>documentation is provided.<br>• Resolve integration issues for invoices and encumbrances between Proliance and <br>Costpoint.<br>• Evaluate and ensure bond compliance in regards to all payment requests.<br>• Reconcile financial accounts/escrow bank statements.</p>
<p>• Prepare and process journal entries and Debit/Credit Memos.<br>• Assist Finance and Accounting team in identifying errors and develop innovative approaches to <br>minimize risk of repeat discrepancies.<br>• Develop new reports and assist with form revisions to help provide transparency into Bond <br>Program expenditures.<br>• Communicate with applicable construction and professional services vendors as needed.<br>• Work directly with outside team members and campuses on cost and invoice commitments and <br>expenditure matters.<br>• Work effectively with other department personnel in order to resolve any invoice payment issues <br>and obtain signatures of authorization on invoice matters.<br>• Other activities as needed as requested by the Finance and Accounting Manager.</p>
<p><strong>Minimum Required Qualifications:</strong><br>• 1 year of work experience, specifically in invoice processing or accounts payable.<br>• Associate’s degree or College Certificate. Additional qualifying experience in excess to the <br>minimum stated above may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis.<br>• Ability to work with business enterprise software including MS Office, Excel, Word.<br>• Ability to perform historical trend analysis and propose action plan for resolution.<br>• Ability to create and analyze financial reports.<br>• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.<br>• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Ability to communication and present effectively.<br><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong><br>• Bachelor’s Degree in business or related degree/certificate.</p>
