Project Management Coordinator

The project management coordinator will ensure that the Bank’s projects are delivered on time, within cost and meet the set quality standards.

Areas of responsibility include:

• Managing assigned projects in collaboration with the teams nominated from business units.
• Preparing project documents in collaboration with the business units, i.e project charter, project implementation document (PID), project risk register, and stakeholder register.
• Supervising consultants engaged on assigned projectsto ensure quality deliverables and contact compliance.
• Preparing and delivering regular performance reports on assigned projects.
• Reviewing, evaluating, and providing advice to the Projects Portfolio Oversight Committee on the prioritization of proposed projects.
• Reviewing existing project management frameworks and recommended new or improved frameworks to strengthen Project Management Office (PMO) capabilities.
• Establishing and maintaining good relationships with project stakeholders.
• Ensuring the Bank’s projects and programs align with the strategic objectives.
• Tracking and reporting on the delivery of projects benefits.
• Executing other project-related responsibilities and duties as assigned by management to support the Bank’s strategic objectives.

minimum qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Project Management plus a degree in Economics, Accounting or Project Management
• •PRINCE 2 or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification will be an added advantage

Experience required:

A minimum of five (5) years of relevant working experience in managing projects
