This role will lead end-to-end project execution for new equipment installations, upgrades, and tooling projects, ensuring alignment with production requirements, budget, and timeline.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for tooling and equipment projects.</li> <li>Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, maintenance, and suppliers.</li> <li>Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.</li> <li>Source and evaluate suppliers for tooling and industrial equipment.</li> <li>Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to ensure cost-effective procurement.</li> <li>Manage vendor relationships and oversee compliance with specifications and quality standards.</li> <li>Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of industrial equipment and tooling.</li> <li>Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements during installation.</li> <li>Validate equipment performance and handover to operations.</li> <li>Track project costs and ensure adherence to approved budgets.</li> <li>Prepare regular status reports for stakeholders and management.</li> <li>Drive continuous improvement in project execution and cost efficiency.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>2+ years of project management experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.</li> <li>Proven expertise in tooling and industrial equipment procurement and installation.</li> <li>Skills:</li> <li>Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment specifications.</li> <li>Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.</li> <li>Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, SAP, or similar).</li> <li>Strong communication and leadership abilities.</li> <li>Preferred</li> <li>PMP or equivalent project management certification.</li> <li>Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Salary Range: $75,000</strong></p> <p>The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, age, genetic information, or pregnancy.</p> <p><em><strong>Please beware of job seeker scams and see this <a href="https://www.alten.com/careers/job-offers/">important notice</a> on our careers page for more information about our recruiting process.</strong></em></p> <p><strong>Compliance Notice: </strong>Alten USA is a federal contractor subject to the requirements of the Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA) and Executive Order 11246.
