We're a company with big ambitions - plenty of&nbsp; opportunities for growth and advancement!</p> <p style="text-align: left;"><br><strong>Position Title:</strong> Senior Project Manager</p> <p style="text-align: left;"><strong>Position Description: </strong>The Senior Project Manager is responsible for execution of automation projects from award kickoff through closure, with significant responsibilities including customer support, performance relative to schedule and cost objectives and scope tracking. Duties include but are not limited to:<br>• Follow active equipment projects from customer order through completion<br>• Assess project issues and identify solutions to meet customer, quality and cost goals<br>• Ability to review project requirements and identify scope changes&nbsp;<br>• Execute to various customer milestones and coordinate all relevant necessary resources<br>• Interact with suppliers and cross functional team members from Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Management and Manufacturing to solicit input establishing project proposals<br>• Lead, coach and motivate project team members on a proactive basis<br>• Preparation and communication of project status meetings and escalation of critical issues.<br>• Professional management of customer relationship and requests<br>• Real-time communication with Axis departments on project developments<br>• Assist in supporting other company-wide projects and departments as needed<br>• Develop tools and best practices for project management and execution<br>• Complete “lessons learned” evaluations to help improve on future projects<br>• Travel to support project milestones, meet customers, and support occasional proposal activities&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: left;"><br><strong>Education and Experience Requirements</strong><br>• Bachelor’s degree in engineering field or significant experience directly managing engineering-based projects<br>• 4+ years of experience in automation or engineering services industry<br>• 5+ years of experience in Project Management with budget responsibility<br>• Experience with tool design and welding applications preferred<br>• Comprehensive understanding of Project Management best practices and processes<br>• Proficiency utilizing common project management tools (Microsoft Teams, Excel, timeline tracking, etc)<br>• Financial and analytical aptitude<br>• Ability to stay highly organized and balance multiple tasks simultaneously<br>• Attention to detail<br>• Risk management and proactive mitigation planning<br>• Willingness to travel up to 10% - 20% annually&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: left;"><br><strong>Estimated Total Compensation:</strong> $124,000 - $134,000 per year<br><strong>Benefits: </strong>Axis offers a comprehensive benefits package with no waiting period.</p>
