About the role
***This is a fixed-term contract running through December 2026, with a gross annual salary of €40,000–€42,000 (no supplementary benefits). Candidates must be based in Portugal and have the legal right to work without sponsorship. Fluency in English is required. This role follows a hybrid model with in-office presence in Lisbon once every 2 weeks.***
We are seeking a hands-on Project Manager to support delivery of a complex technology transformation program involving platform migrations, data integration, and cybersecurity initiatives.
This role requires strong execution capability and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across security, infrastructure, and data teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Delivery Management
- Manage end-to-end delivery of transformation initiatives from initiation through closure
- Coordinate multiple concurrent workstreams with interdependencies
- Drive milestone-based execution aligned to defined timelines and objectives
Planning & Governance
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and key delivery artifacts
- Maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
- Track progress, identify risks, and drive mitigation actions
- Provide regular status reporting to stakeholders, including executive-level updates
Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination
- Act as the central coordination point across internal teams and external vendors
- Drive alignment, accountability, and communication across all stakeholders
- Facilitate discussions, resolve conflicts, and remove delivery blockers
Execution Support
- Support delivery of platform migration and integration activities
- Ensure alignment across dependent systems, teams, and timelines
- Assist in transition planning, validation, and operational readiness
Core Skills Required
- Strong program execution and delivery management capability
- Experience managing complex dependencies across multiple teams and vendors
- Solid understanding of technology environments including infrastructure, cloud, data, and security
- Experience driving large-scale migrations, system integrations, or transformation programs
- Strong risk management, issue tracking, and milestone planning skills
- Excellent stakeholder communication and executive reporting abilities
- Ability to operate independently and bring structure to ambiguous environments
Required Qualifications
- 6–10 years of experience in Project or Program Management
- Proven experience managing cybersecurity-focused or SIEM-related programs/projects
- Exposure to security operations, log management, or monitoring platforms
- Experience working on technology transformation or migration programs
- Demonstrated ability to manage timelines, risks, and dependencies in complex environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SIEM platforms such as IBM QRadar, Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or similar
- Familiarity with security data platforms, data lakes, or log ingestion pipelines
- Understanding of SOC operations, detection workflows, and incident response processes
- Experience with SOAR platforms or automation workflows
- Experience working in regulated environments with compliance and governance requirements
- Experience working with distributed or global teams
