The Role

This role as a Project Manager is placed in the Project Management Organization within our Customer Services department reporting to the Senior Manager of Project Management. The Project Management team is responsible for managing all projects within the Customer Services department which improve service efficiency, quality and scalability as well as representing Customer Services in cross-departmental ones that support revenue growth, partnership enablement and overall business transformation. As part of the Project Management team, you will manage large projects or several small to medium sized projects requiring complex cross-functional collaboration and management at project level.

Responsibilities

  • Determine and define project scope and objectives.

  • Gather requirements and acquire sign off.

  • Cost-Benefit Analysis for each phase of the project in order to prioritize implementation.

  • Work closely with our Product teams to estimate resources and timelines needed to complete the project.

  • Create and manage project plans; monitor and review project progress & timelines and identify and resolve issues to ensure project success.

  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about progress, risks/ issues, adjustments and mitigating actions.

  • Leverage project management expertise and best practices to consistently ensure high-quality, impactful deliverables.

  • Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members.

  • Work closely with the Customer Services, Legal, Finance, Product, Technology and other Internal teams throughout the project.

  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and leading optimization initiatives across PMO processes.

Requirements

  • BSc in Information Technology, Engineering, Economics, Business Management or related field 3+ years of direct Project management experience.

  • Previous experience in the Travel Industry, specially working with airfare and air rules, would be an asset.

  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Wrike, Jira), Microsoft Office Suite (or G-Suite), with a strong emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Familiar with main PM Methodologies (Waterfall, Agile etc).

  • Demonstrated project leadership skills.

  • Excellent analytical & effective interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget and timeline.

  • PMP certification would be considered an asset.
