Project Manager

We are looking to recruit a Project Manager to be an integral part of the business. This position will be based at our site in Chester. Our desired candidate will have;

• A good understanding of the core phases of Project Management-
• Previous experience of roles within project management, including the scope of all key milestones from the call for tender stage through to final acceptance.
• Have a technical background and possess engineering qualifications. This role will include electrical/mechanical lifting solutions.
• Strong communication skills with all stakeholders at all all levels.
• Have knowledge of all relevant standards required to deliver compliant projects (e.g ISO standards)

Responsibilities:

• Agreeing project objectives
• Coordinating internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of projects
• Ensuring all projects are delivered on time in a safe manner and in accordance with the scope and Health and Safety legislation
• Ensuring resource availability
• Providing advice on the management of Projects including the role within the CDM regulations
• Carrying out suitable and sufficient risk assessments under the guidance of the health and safety representative and ensuring compliance
• Making sure quality standards are met
• Recruiting specialists and sub-contractors with a similar health and safety culture
• Overseeing costings and billing
• Managing the production of the required deliverables
• Monitoring overall progress and use of resources, initiating corrective action where necessary
• Control and collation of all documents
